We're working on a film that follows Fien's life story. A girl that cannot handle rejection and experienced social difficulties. We're filming her story from the 90s, 2000s, and 2020s, from a 9-year-old to a 38-year-old. For a scene with a fair amount of rustic humor, we're still looking for an actor in the Arnhem/Zevenaar area. This actor will perform as a cover band member of Normaal and will play Bennie Jolink.

We also have an English-language scene set in a spa/massage parlor in Amsterdam. For this, we're looking for a male actor with an Arabic background.

School Party Scene – 2002

A low point and turning point follows during a big school party. The farm kids gather in the old barn where a raucous concert by the Achterhoek rock band Normaal is recreated by a local cover band. The party spirals out of control: students drink, fight, throw beer, and misbehave.

Fien, feeling miserable and left out, turns to drugs—a pill or psychedelic pressed into her hands “to loosen up.” As the band blares and the crowd seethes, Fien begins to hallucinate. The aggressive energy of the room blends with her fear and fantasies: the party lights transform into spiraling bells, the screaming students appear to be wearing masks, and the music becomes a pounding storm that engulfs her. She also sees cows and pigs passing by in strange distortions.

Where others seek chaos, Fien retreats further and further into an inner trance—half euphoric, half terrified. The school party ends in a mess of overturned beer crates and filth. The guitarist is completely done with it. What Fien is left with is an oppressive emptiness: the realization that she doesn't seem truly safe or wanted anywhere.

We're still looking for one actor for other scenes in a spa in Amsterdam. Fien visits a hotel spa, but her partner, who works there, runs away as soon as Fien appears (the story is set in Egypt). Filming is taking place in Amsterdam.

The film will be sent to various film festivals in 2026.

- Actor: Man of Arab descent, handsome, approximately 190-195 cm tall. 35-45 years old near Amsterdam.
Character: Ibrahim. English-language scene. Amsterdam area.

The film does NOT contains adult content.

Preferably someone local, as there is no travel reimbursement.
We are working on film subsidies, so you may receive payment later if we raise sufficient funds.

We also need extras (young people between 14 and 20 for the farmers' school festival).
