This is a supporting role that really holds the film together, the right candidate should be able to display great disturbance in his expressions and mannerisms.
A man of few words Gilbert enjoys hacking, sawing and snarling as his past times.
He works tirelessly as Mister Holloways shop hand, creating the majority of the taxidermy throughout the film.
Although a shop boy and under imployement of Mister Holloway he is reluctant in his submission.
Mister Holloway finds his presence unnerving and prefers to spend as little amount of time in his presence as possible.
Thus orders are barked rapidly and Gilbert is left to his own tinkering in the darkness of the workshop.
This is a very interactive role, you will be playing with potions and an array of armoury as Gilbert causes several large events to occur during the film.

The right candidate should be able to display a complete disinterest in reality, glass hollow eyes.
This is countered by his manic enthusiasm at wildly inappropriate moments.
