As a director, I am always looking for new and exciting challenges within the film industry. I have many years of experience in managing people, writing, and executing concepts within various types of film. I have worked on different projects from music video's to campaign video's, and now I'm looking for new challenges I am open to any new challenge and would love to get in touch with producers, or brands, or other creative people who want to work on cool projects together. I am confident in my ability to bring a fresh perspective to any project, and I am not afraid to take risks, which allows me to create projects that are both creative and successful. I love taking on projects that require creative problem-solving and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I believe that every project should have a unique purpose and something special to offer viewers. To achieve this, I am constantly looking for new ideas and ways of approaching film. Hi! I’m Max, and I’m a director of photography, and I also make edits. I’m based in Rotterdam. I have experience in short films, commercials and documentaries and ideally I’m looking for a nice project to really sink my teeth in. I’ve worked for ESPN, Feyenoord, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a range of commercial bureaus and last year I shot two pilots for 3LAB (Bittersweet, AvroTros and Cum Laude, BNNVARA) and shot and edited a short film (Verlossing). The year before that I shot and edited another short film (Benauwd, Official Selection International Film Festival Bratislava) and did the cinematography and the edit for a sports documentary (El Gladiador, Feyenoord production). Apart from my capabilities as a cinematographer and editor I also own a studio in Rotterdam, in case there’s a necessity for anything ranging from (small) green screen shoots, projection or a place to edit. I’m not necessarily looking for anything that’s particularly well paid, the most important thing for me is that it’s a project with a good story and good people! Hi everyone, I am Dutch. I'm posting this in English to cater to both English and Dutch-speaking readers. You're working on a story, script or play. Maybe you're feeling a bit stuck, or perhaps your work is not quite finished yet and you would love to hear it come to life to find out what it sounds like. Or maybe you want your work to be as appealing as possible for the potential actors that will bring your characters to life and you're curious about what draws experienced actors to a specific piece of work. I am an experienced actor who has acted on and off for the past 30 years, both in theater and film. I've lived in Los Angeles, California for nearly 20 years and studied theater and film there at the Lee Strasberg Institute. I'm fluent and comfortable in both English and Dutch. I offer this for free simply because I love creative collaboration and it allows me to keep reading new material in between acting projects that I do.
